Where I started
My technical journey started with me taking apart Goodwill PC parts in middle school (throw back to when Goodwill sold PCs!) and reading random coding books and blogs. I started to learn to code when I was 17 and from there, I built over 20+ random and usually fun projects during my nights after work.
Eventually I landed a corporate dev job where i worked for an eternity (5 years) and got recruited by a Healthcare SaaS (double the pay). Did that for a little and then got a job at AWS building solutions for their customers. I built up my experience building real world applications for many different sized companies from billions of transactions and millions of users to prototyping and onboarding a founder's first beta users. I share these lessons through my blog and speaking engagements.
Where I've worked
I've built tons of full stack projects either for companies or founders across these organizations (2018-Current). Here's a list of the ones I remember: Document repository, serverless file processor, AI Agent, syncing middleware, automated claim processor, accessibility auditing automation, API to manage codesets, 3d room editor SaaS, paid scheduling SaaS, Zoom transcription web app, astrology SPA, food truck finder web app, screenshot web app, git repo to coding tutorial generator, static site generator.
What I've worked with
Stack: TypeScript, Python, Java, AWS (Lambda, CDK, DynamoDB), Terraform, SQL/NoSQL, Node.js, React, Angular, X12.
